Over 60's match 29th August 2012

Just three days after the club championship, the Over 60's tried their luck on the Enborne Canal. Although the bank holiday was over and the water was quieter, the fish were still shy. It was a close race for the win with Brian Pallet and Billy Lowe chasing each other fish for fish to the end. Once again just single ounces separated the minor placings. The result was:

Brian Pallett 5-13-0

Billy Lowe 5-9-0

Steve Myers 2-8-0

Club Championship 26th August 2012

The club championship series descended on the Enborne canal on the bank holiday weekend, to find the waterway not giveing up its fish easily. It was a tough match with weights below expectation, not helped by it being a bank holiday weekend and lots of boats passing through. John cox was the runaway winner, the others not getting near half his weight. It was very close for the lower points, with some anglers only separated by one ounce.

The result was:

John Cox 12lb exactly

Steve Myers 5lb 6oz

Martin Pallett 3lb 12oz
