Specimen fish and club records Many of our waters contain fish of specimen weight. Each year a trophy is awarded at the AGM and Prizegiving for the best specimen, as decided by the committee, reported from one of our waters. However to be in with a chance, you have to report the fish, and many of the best go unreported. We know they have been caught because they are spoken about, but unless they are submitted on the form below, the committee cannot consider them. This is often because members do not have a form, and don't send one in later. Print one off and carry it with you. Maybe next years trophy will go to the angler who caught a 40lb carp, instead of a 12oz roach! Send your completed forms to the Secretary. The form can be obtained here. For a guide, club specimen weights are proposed below. But you don't have to beat these to enter your catch.
