Knotts Lake

Knotts is a larger lake in the Widmead complex at about 8 acres. It contains a variety of species and some large carp, but over the last few years it has been stocked with tench. The intention is to try to create an old fashioned clear water tench fishery. This is a long term strategy as the carp may be long lived. Other species are present too.

There are swims near the car park and disabled swims.

As part of a SSSI this fishery is not open during the close season.
