Over 60's match 17th November 2021

With Guyers Lock under repair and boat travel curtailed, the Enborne canal was looking clear and moody. Thirteen anglers prepared for battle, all looking for a decent draw. The sun was bright and the wind cool as battle commenced. Bites were hard to get and slowly fish were put in the nets. The weight of the day was 5lbs 10oz by Alf McGarry from Peg 16, just reward for an angler increasing his weights match-match. In second place with 4lbs 9oz from Peg 4, Golden Arm, the consistent Dave Smith, end peg again. Following in third place from Peg 18 Steve Thame with 3lbs 11oz and fourth place was Brian Pallett from Peg 17 with 3lbs 10oz. Tight lines to all. Henry Sadler.
