Over 60's match 27th October 2021

On a blustery but mild 27th October, 12 over 60s prepared for battle at Enborne Up. The draw was made and anglers made their way to the draw pegs. Match secretary struggled to his peg as he had forgotten the handle for his fishing box! Rescue was on hand as a handle was provided by Steve Thame. With a strong down wind and boat traffic steady all day, conditions were tricky. The weight on the day was 12lbs 8oz by Steve Thame from peg 17, followed by Dave Smith, peg 12 with 10lbs 7oz and third Steve Myers with 8lbs 6oz on peg 16. Perch were the main catch followed by roach. A total weight of 65lbs 3oz, giving an average per angler 5lbs 7ozs. Next match at Avington. See you there. Tight lines, Henry Sadler.
