Fishery Management

Although the Committee are elected by the membership to manage the club on a day-to-day basis, and strategically, there are lots of ways that individual members can get involved to influence and assist in the running of the club.

Working Parties: Contact Nigel Westall for details of planned working parties and how to join in. They are a lot of fun, and you can learn some secrets about the waters!

Bailiffing: If you think you have the right personality to enforce the rules of the Association as a bailiff, please contact our Head Bailiff, Jon Quinn. Details on your permit.

Secondment to the Committee: The Committee may be able to bring you on board to give specialist help on club for projects. If you are interested let us know how you can help.

Propose rule amendments: Don't just moan about the rules, suggest your own changes. The procedure is in your rule book or email your proposals to secretary@newburyangling.org.uk

Attend the open forum meetings: Come along and make your point. Every member has a right to their opinion and the forum is the best place to hear it.

Read the Fishery Management plan: Your comments will be better informed if you do.

Contact the committee: Details are on your permit of how to reach us.
